Halley's Comet - World
Every 75/76 years an 'alien' visitor returns from a long journey from the black universe to expose itself into the light. This lightbeing with its two magnificent tails: a long broad dusttail and an iontail (they actually sometimes look as two thin tails) has been returning for almost 175.000 years! Its body has been made of stones and ice and it melts as it approaches the sun in its long elliptic orbit. When it swings around the sun, with a speed of about 54 km/second, it reaches its highest point in its tilted orbit and at the same moment it will have its perihelion passage. Then it will vanish into the blackness of the universe again.
Our ancestors witnessed its sometimes very impressive return for over 2000 times! In a time it was generally believed the sun orbited the earth, they might not have been able to recognize the astronomical nature of this celestial object. Individuals or priest-astronomers who might have known its astronomical nature, probably relating it to fallen meteorites, probably kept it secret for the sake of power and control.
The secret of the periodicity of Halley's Comet seems already be known in about 9.000 BC. This is the message that Gobekli Tepe, considered to be the first Temple, is communicating with us. But we must consider the possibility that the dark caves are really the oldest temples in the world. Mankind always seemed to have loved the power of metaphors when it comes to naming unexplainable matters. The darkest parts of caves simply might have represented the Black Universe where 'the alien' came from. We, earthly inhabitants, will need a flaming torch, a metaphor of the sun, to lighten up the wall paintings in the darkness of caves where we will find the images of bull, horses and all the other (one) horned hairy animals that accompagnied the life of early men. Being warmed up by the sun and exposed in the light: this the way the lightbeing showed itself: at sunrise in the east, sunset in the west and hidden by light during daytime.
The ancient Egyptians used one specific word for the terrifying alien that returned, every now and then, from the Black Universe. The translation of this word is: 'from the Black'. It is the word 'Kemet''. In this word we can recognize our word 'Comet' or the Greek word 'Kometes'. Nothing is more black than the blackness of the universe at night.
The black, black darkness is the darkness we can notice in the ancient temples of great civilizations. We can notice the (almost) eternal darkness in the megalithic site of Newgrange, in the inner part of the Great Pyramid and in the famous temple of Abu Simbel. But once or twice every year, depending on the monument, sunlight will mark a remarkable and memorable day that is related to the bright perception of Halley's Comet on its highest position when orbiting the sun.
In Newgrange the memory of Halley's Comet, as a sacred salmon, a fish, related to the river Boyne where it spawned, became important. In the Great Pyramid we can observe the importance of the metaphor of the horned bull. The remains of a sacrificed bull where found by Belzoni in the sarcophagus in the King's Room and sunlight was allowed to enter this room seventeen days after the perihelion passage. It probably marks the day the comet, Halley's comet, has been seen for the last day and metaphorically marked the death of the celestial ruler.
In Abu Simbel the sunlight penetrates the temple around two different days in the year in spring and in autumn. On one of these days, around februar 20, sunlight at sunrise lightens up the altar at the end of the dark temple. It is a day related to the apparition and perihelion passage of Halley's Comet on februar 19, 1219 BC, a year related to the life of the supposed constructor and one of the greatest kings of Egypt: Ramesses II. No, this king has not ruled the earth in a human way. He was one of the rulers from heaven while the real power was in the hands of the Egyptian priests. The so-called mummy of Ramesses II in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo has not been found in situ but, as the mummies of almost every Egyptian King, under disturbed suspicious conditions. I bet they where important priests in service of their kings. It is a fact that when a sealed sarcophagus of an Egyptian King is found and opened... It is empty. The egyptologists have no logic explanation for this fact. I have: the King was never human and a ceremonial burial of the King of Heaven was part of their religion as in many religions as in many cultures.
Religion in the past has always been based on the expected return of the soul of the King of Heaven. The tailed and horned King, the bearded King with his long hair, can be viewed as being metaphors of Halley's Comet from the time the secret was kept sacred. The ferocious tailed and horned Bull, the long manes of the flying white horse can also be viewed as being metaphors of Halley's Comet. The white pigeon bringing peace, an ear of corn related to fertility, the fiery sword of King Arthur, the famous Mycenean dagger carved on the megaliths of Stonehenge, the sacred lotusflower, the Tree of Life, the holy white-tailed eagle, an angel sent from heaven, and the horned flying snake are just a few more examples of the hundreds of metaphors that might be related to apparitions of Halley's Comet. Religion is comet-centric. Because when the comet came, the people where scared, they blamed the comet for the misery they experienced when the rains came, or didn't, when the earth trembled, meteorites fell, tsunami's occured. When the comet came they had to sacrifice, first fruits, prisoners, children, women, young men. They where killed with the club, their heads smashed in, killed by the axe which had the shape of a bat from the dark caves.
The victims where killed in Naqada (Egypt), in Cahuachi (Peru), in Stonehenge (England), in Xian (China) and in Ur (Sumer). The spinning earth showed the comet, the Kings soul, on all civilizations. The sacrificial victims killed by thousands by the Aztecs and they where killed by Mayas and Incas as well. The amount of sacrificial victims can not be counted, and will never be counted, because humans all over the world shared the same comet-based fear and religion. Thousands and thousands of sacificial victims are still hidden in the darkness of their eternal graves.
There might be among the world's populations no religion that has not been inspired on metaphors of returning of Halley's Comet. Its magnificent apparitions has always been related to disasters, drought, famine and to the death of 'famous kings', emperors and caesars. Apparitions of Halley's Comet might be held responsible for the expansion of human culture and for the development of ideas on our immortal soul and the afterlife.
And yet the world is totally ignorant, despite of all the clues, of the only rational explanation for the rise and downfall of ancient civilisations.
How the return of Halley's Comet could be predicted
Thanks to the very accurated calculations of perihelion passages of Halley's Comet, made by the astronomer Joseph L. Brady, we can reveal the secret of the ancient priest-astronomers. Joseph L. Brady calculated all perihelion passages between 2647 BC and 1986 AD and I have noticed, based on his calculations, that planet Jupiter could be used to predict the right year of Halley's Comet return.
On every third perihelion passage of Halley's Comet planet Jupiter could be found near Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation of Leo.
This was the case for the year 2647 BC when Halley's Comet returned; a date that is related to a very remarkable celestial event. Not only Jupiter was close to Regulus, also Saturn, our slowest moving planet, could be found near Regulus and Jupiter. Our ancestors not only witnessed this special event; they also might have been able to calculate the exact year of this event many of hundred years, if not thousands, before it actually happened.
There are memories of this special event; it can be witnessed in Egypt: the arrangment of the famous Giza pyramids reflect the position of star Regulus, planet Jupiter and planet Saturn on sunset of April 18 2647 BC. All three, two planets and a star, are called 'Kings' in myths. Regulus can be translated as 'little king'. Jupiter is 'King of the Gods' and Saturn is his 'father'.
So we have an unique triad here: three Kings at sunset following a tailed star: Halley's Comet. It seems to be the origin of Christianity has been based on April 18 2647 BC. So the concept of the birth of Christ was known much earlier than generally believed. Well, that is not so strange if we realise that the skill of being able to predict the right year of the return of the King's soul, by the Jupiter-Leo correlation, was lost... in 164 BC. The heavens changed for some unknown reason and the Jupiter-Leo correlation was disturbed after, at least about 14.000 years.
Also in Ireland, in Boheh, county Mayo, there is a strong memory of this event because every year on April 18 (and on a date in October) the setting sun rolls down Croagh Patrick to the West, when observed from close by St Patrick's Chair. (See animated Gif).
To banish the snakes, the legend related to Saint Patrick and Croagh Patrick (Ireland) or to kill the powerful bull from heaven can be considered metaphors for one of the greatest discoveries of human intellect: being able to predict the year of the next apparition of Halley's Comet. Metaphorically killing the feracious Bull from the Black, the 'Father of Terror' (Abu Hôl) as one of its nicknames seems to have been in Egypt, might be considered one of the greatest achiefments in the History of Mankind.
But there is another astronomical event that seems to be closely related to to the apparition of the comet which also includes the significance of planet Jupiter. It can be observed by anyone having a copy of Joseph Brady's publication of the dates of perihelion apssages of Halley's comet and astronomy software. This astronomical event is one of the greatest secrets of religion and has been reflected many, many times in ancient art all around the world.
The orbits of Venus and Jupiter seem to cross, showing the planets very close to each other, like two bright eyes always within a short period of Halley's Comet perihelion passage. These bright eyes might be a rational explanation why the zodiac sign of Leo is in fact a lion. The eyes of a cat are illuminating in the darkness. A large feline, for instance a lion (or a jaguar or tiger), related to the apparition of Halley's Comet and to two bright eyes might be the first zodiac sign and might be a very, very old constellation. The oldest representation of this ancient knowledge can be found in the Cave of Les Trois Freres in France. In the darkness of the cave there is a shrine with an abstract image of a lion. It was worshipped there. The eyes of the lion or not depicted equal in brightness or exactly parallel. Here we can observe the metaphor of Halley's Comet (the lions manes) and the rising eyes of Jupiter and Venus in.... the constellation of Leo.
Let's have a closer look to the eyes related to Halley's Comet. One example: a famous apparition of Halley's Comet took place in the year 1066 AD. According Joseph L. Brady the comet had its perihelion passage on March 18 1066 AD. On august 20 1066 AD (using Starry Night Pro software) Venus and Jupiter could be witnessed rising more or less parallel, in the eastern sky at sunrise. This event, the parallel heliacal rise of two planets in the year of Halley's Comet return, seem to have been fixed, in pre-Columbian time, on El Fuerte de Samaipata, an UNESCO-monument. By fixing the direction of the parallel heliacal rise of those two planets (azimuth 71º degrees) above the tracks of 'El Cascabel' ("the back of the Rattlesnake") the pre-Inca priest-astronomers also succeeded in fixing the year of Halley's Comet. The event of the rising 'two eyes' occur more often than once every 75/76 years and its parallel rising would have no special meaning if it hasn't been the year of Halley's Comet return.
The relation between the two bright eyes (Venus and Jupiter) and the beard (an old metaphor for comet for a synonym of comet is 'beardstar') might have had significance in the development of the avatar of a celestial King. The symbol of the Cross might have had its origin in this particular 'crossing' celestial event when the orbits of Venus and Jupiter seem to cross each other, on succesive mornings, in the year of Halley's Comet return.
The evolution of the celestial Cross, together with the celestial eyes, as a religious symbol, can, as I have noticed, be witnessed in ancient art in the archaeological museum in Nicosia (Cyprus). I have found more clues that priest-astronomers of Cyprus have been involved in one of the greatest constructions of the world: the construction of the Gizeh-pyramids in Egypt.
At the mean time I realize that the people who are responsible for its construction are known by a name based on their joint religion: 'the Phoenicians': people who believed in the return of the Phoenix and the eternal king. It seems to be no name solely based on one ethnic group but on several ethnic groups with a same religious background. From this same religious background, either they came from Cyprus, Malta, Sardegna, Ireland, Anatolia, Iraq, Syria, Italy, Greek, Egypt or Gaza, they might have held responsible, in a joint religious venture for the construction of the Giza pyramids and in the overal institution of the concept of promise of Heavenly Kingdom based on the knowledge of the returning comet.
Archaeologists have suggested that the first settlers of Cyprus indeed came from the area of Anatolia, northern Syria or northern Irak. This part of the world is generally considered as being the source of religion. Old sites like Gobleki Tepe, Nevali Cori, Abu Hureyra etc., already seem to have developed a religion based on the expected return of Halley's Comet as ancient temples and certain rites (burning of grain, an ear of grain resembles the shape of a comets tail) suggest.
Maybe this is the place to suggest that, because Jupiter stays about one year in every zodiac-sign, the coming of the comet was celebrated 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 years before its return by performing rites. During these years planet Jupiter was in the same constellation and when the return of the comet was expected in Leo than these years mark the position of Jupiter in Leo as well. I have noticed a possible relation between the burning of grain, based on C14 dates, and the years of Halley's Comet return.
There exists a very important and significant relation between Cyprus and Urfa (Anatolia) based on an image of Jesus Christ and Halley's Comet. In Urfa a statue has been found, very ancient, that shows that the priests where aware of the relation between the parallel heliacal rising of Venus and Jupiter and the constellation of Leo. Urfa might indeed be 'Ur' instead of the city, which was maybe named after it, in ancient Sumer. The Turkish religious sites predate the Sumerian temple complexes by thousands of years! (although religion was also based on apparitions of Halley's Comet).
Although I was able to find the years of Halley's Comet prior to 2647 BC (based on the Leo-Jupiter correlation) the calibrated C14 dates of ancient sites (provided by Canew.org) contain to much flexibility. That there is a relation between the apparition of Halley's Comet and early religion seems to be inevitable as stone-art of Gobekli Tepe shows. We can recognize many metaphors of Halley's Comet in the animals that are depicted: the sting of a Scorpio, the lizard (animal which can loose its tail), many lions, a young bird orbiting the sun, tailed foxes, snakes, horned bull... and so on...
An era comes to an end
The sequence of 'Jupiter in Leo' and being able to predict the right year of Halley's Comet returns suddenly ends, without warning in 164 BC when Jupiter was in Sagittarius instead of being in Leo when the comet returned. This mis-prediction might have caused a worldwide catastrophy that marked the downfall of Halley's Comet based religion.
Almost in the same period we can notice the rise of Christianity with symbolism and rituals that still refer to former pagan-times. Also we can notice the rise of astronomical science that is escaping a religious environment and becomes an enemy of religious institutes. By fixing the birth of Christ on a year not related to Halley's Comet the division between Halley's Comet and religion becomes a fact. Halley's Comet, in the more distant past, regarded as the fysical and perceptive returning soul of a king and being the ultimate proof of an existance of heavenly kingdom and immortality of the human soul, could no longer serve the benefits of the ancient priest-astronomers.
We can notice the early Coptic Christians destroy the images of horse-heads on temple complexes in Egypt because the manes of horses reminded them of the long-haired comet that had forsaken them. The old comet-centric religion, based on returns of Halley's Comet, and related to Memphis and the three Giza pyramids (according to Herodote related to Jupiter) vanished.
So Halley's Comet became an enemy of Christianity...
Halley's Comet became an enemy of Christianity and the memory of Halley's Comet as being the greatest catalyst for human culture was buried by the Catholic Church. But in Cyprus, above the main entrance of the wealthy Kykkos Monastery one might still observe the former importance of our brightest comet. On a significant spot on the ceiling above the maingate we can notice the comet, with its three tails, flying through the heaven at nighttime and daytime. And in it we will see the face of a man or probably his soul flying to the stars. The painting might be related to the apparition of Halley's Comet in 1066 AD for the Monastery has been founded towards the end of the 11th century.
So the apparition of Halley's Comet in 1066 AD show us that Halley's Comet might have had sigficant religious meanings as well on the Southern Hemisphere (Pre-Columbian El Fuerte de Samaipata) as on the Northern Hemisphere (Cyprus) has being related to the soul of celestial kings. And it looks to me where are facing an tradition that goes all the way back to the cave-men.
Some accounts of Halley´s Comet might be related to the fysical appearance of the King or Pharaoh
(Egypt). . . The pupils of their eyes squinted so that they could not see. The roads were blocked and stopped up before them, while the world was a whirlwind behind them to carry off their people. Their weapons had fallen from their hands, and their hearts knew no rest . . . . They were straggling trembling and sweating. The uraeus-serpent which is upon the head of the Sun of Egypt (Pharaoh) was against them, so that the great heat of (the war-goddess) Sekhmet permeated their hearts and their bones were burned up within their bodies. The stars of the seshed-constellation were frightful in pursuit of them, while the land (of Egypt) was glad and rejoiced at the sight of his valor: Ramses III. (Wilson, J.A. 1928/29 p. 27)

The image of 'The Adoration of the Magi' (Scrovegni Chapel, Padua, Italy) has been painted by the Florentine master Giotto di Bondone. Halley's Comet had appeared in 1301 and the painting probably has been painted in the years 1303 and 1304. The illustration can be found on the frontcover of: Encounter '86, An International Rendezvous with Halley's Comet. The funny thing is that the presentation of the first copies where made to His Holiness the Pope and President Cossiga. In it we can find a presentation adress to His Holiness Pope John Paul II by Professor Reimar Lüst:
"(fragment)...of all the comets which are visible from the Earth, none is better known than Halley's Comet named after the scientist who first plotted its orbit, and correctly predicted its return, and by so doing, gave fresh impetus to the study of comets and their place in the solar system. The regular visits of this comet have been observed since 240 BC, and they have coincided with many dramatic events of history. Artists have portrayed the comet: in particular the apparition of 1301 inspired Giotto do Bondone to include the comet as the Star of Bethlehem in his fresco The Adoration of the Magi which adorns La Cappela degli Scrovegni in Padua..."
Pope John Paul II might have known that the periodicity of this comet was already known thousands and thousands of years earlier by priest-astronomers. They might have been able to predict the return of Halley's Comet in the right year until 164 BC when a long sequence of 'Jupiter in Leo' on every third apparition of the comet ended. The returning comet, as being the ultimate 'proof' of the existance of an eternal soul was banished and the knowledge related to its prediction seems to have been intentionally lost. So when this book was offered to Pope John Paul II I can imagine his face, thinking: "My Lord, we tried so hard to get rid of the memories of this comet and the metaphor of the Bull associated with it, but the damned thing keeps returning".

* The periodicity of Halley's Comet is known, at least from 14.000 BC and probably before this period (Lascaux caves, Cave Les Trois Freres, France)
* The return of Halley's Comet has been recorded in the distant past by using metaphors of the characteristics of animals and objects used in hunting, that where familiar by its observers. To name a few: hair (beard, tail), manes, (lion, (white) horse), horns (ram, bull, goat), antlers (red deer), ears (hare), hairy animals (mammuth), one horned animals (rhinoceros), curved dents (elephant), weapons (arrow, spear, dagger, sword, javellin, atl-atl), canes, barrels (pots, urns), flying birds (hawk, (white tailed eagle), pigeon), .....
* The year of apparition on every third perihelion passage of Halley's Comet was known because of the position of Jupiter was fixed against the same background of stars (Leo). Leo, Jupiter and Halley's Comet are intensily related because of this astronomical fact.
* The greatest victory of men, being able to predict a return before Edmund Halley and construct an everlasting monument to this, has been recorded in Egypt. On the perihelion passage of Halley's Comet on April 18 2647 BC, as calculated by Joseph L. Brady in 1982, not only Jupiter could be found in Leo but also the very slow moving planet of Saturn! Both planets joined the star Regulus in a remarkable Triad, almost in the zenith of the sky at sunset. This Triad seems to mark the Masterplan of the famous Giza pyramids.
* The occurance of this event seem to have been planned prior to the actually happening. I think that the people, joined by a common religion, and generally known as the 'Phoenicians', not a specific race but people joined in a common religion (like Christians), might be held responsible for the planning and construction in time, for the masterplan and the architecture of each specific pyramid. Each pyramid shows the features of the next return of Halley's Comet. The age of the famous 4th century of Kings holds the secrets of 5 perihelion passages of our brightest comet (2647 BC: masterplan + 3*76 years for the construction of each pyramid).
* Besides the Jupiter-Leo relation we can observe a specific astronomical event that explains the importance of 'eyes' on almost all the statues of world's ancient cultures. These eyes might refer to a very special astronomical event that can be observed, mostly within the timeframe of one year, the (more or less) parallel heliacal rising of the planets Venus (female) and Jupiter (male). Sometimes Jupiter and Venus become one probably giving the idea of a 'fat' Venus. We might expect a relation with an apparition of Halley's Comet here because the tail of the comet sometimes might be identified as being an 'ejaculation' of the god(s).
* Among the worlds most famous constructions related to the apparition of Halley's Comet are (as I think): religious monuments in Europe prior to 164 BC, religious monuments in Egypt prior to 164 BC, religious monuments in Asia prior to 164 BC, religious monuments in Australia prior to 164 BCuntil it became Christianized, religious monuments in the Americas prior to 164 BC until it became Christianized...
* What happened in 164 BC? Well, when we follow the Jupiter in Leo relation, starting in 2647 BC, on every third return than Jupiter should be in Leo in 164 BC. 164 BC has always been a 'troubled' year. When everyone in Europe and Asia minor involved in religious practises expected Halley's return when Jupiter in Leo, it came unexpectedly when Jupiter was in Sagittarius. After that time the relation between Jupiter and its background constellation seemed to be totally lost...
* Due to the fact that the year of Halley's Comet return could not be predicted any longer with accuracy; the 'Churchleaders' decided to seperate the physical appearance of the metaphorical 'Soul of the King' and his beard and eyes (a metaphorical reference to the beardstar and the parallel heliacal rise of Venus and Jupiter) from the avatar of Jesus Christ. His birth was fixed on a date having nothing to do with the year of Halley's Comet for the reason of breaking with ancient astronomical traditions.
*Europe and Egypt (Copts) became remarkably easy Christianized because everyone experienced the same problems: they could no longer predict the return of Halley's Comet and they were facing serious problems with their 'believers'.
*We can read the simillarities between the backgrounds and events of JC and JC (Julius Caesar>July Comet>Halley's Comet in 87 BC (perihelion passage on July 10 or 164 BC (perihelion passage on June22 but probably last seen in July) more ancient roman story. There is no archaeological proof of the (human) existance of Jesus Christ. As there is no archaeological (human) proof of the Kings related to the construction on the famous Giza pyramids.
*Sunlight is allowed to enter the famous temple of Abu Simbel around februar 20. This marks the perihelion passage of Halley's Comet of 1219 BC (Joseph L. Brady). The perihelion passage took place on februar 19. The year 1219 BC is related to the king-constructor of Abu Simbel: the famous king Ramesses II (Ramses II). King Ramses II is nothing else than Halley's Comet as comets and kings are in fact the same; comets can be seen several days after perihelion passage while kings seem to rule the country in, metaphorically, the same amount of years. 17 days of the comets visibility after its reached its highest spot (perihelion passage) is the same as the 17th year of the King's rule before he died. To ascend a throne by a king, a religious/astronomical concept, marks the day of perihelion passage of Halley's Comet by visual perception, after that perception the comet can be seen, in different countries for different days, which marks the Kings rule. Therefore we will never be able to synchronize the ancient Kings of Ireland, Egypt, Sumer, Babylon .... if we are not aware of this fact.
*Changes are gonna come as humankind enters this new awareness. It marks the end of old religions based on many metaphors and it will return to the religion based on Nature and Science. It marks the end of almost 2000 years of lies, hidden secrets and mysteries.
